About Us

Who are we?

We are a new mental health organization that aims to better the mental health of the people in our Ohio State community and beyond. We are especially focused on the mental health of BIPOC, who are often neglected when it comes to resources and the stigma of mental health. We were founded in July 2020  by a psychology undergraduate student, Kelsey Travis. Together, we hope to build a peer network of students in a culturally competent way to achieve our mission.

Our mission

We recognize the stigma BIPOC students experience every day, especially on a college campus. As a diverse group of students from all backgrounds, we aim to support our peers in a culturally sensitive way. We want to make BIPOC feel heard and ensure proper mental health care access for all. We are striving to provide support from people who truly understand what it is like to be a BIPOC student through shared backgrounds and experiences.

Most importantly; We want to be here for you!
